heidi & finn patterns! YAY!

Last night I spent WAY too much time trying to decide on which patterns to try from heidi & finn. They have an etsy shop where you can purchase an assortment of sewing patterns- for boys or girls! I'll show you which I chose and as soon as I get my colored ink replaced and stop by Joanne's, I'm going to start sewing!

What an adorable red Bolero!!

Here's a boy OR girl hoodie!

I LOVE this Hampton hat!!

What do you think? Do you have a little girl to sew for? I can't wait to make these for my daughter!! FUN!

New Pages!!

Today I taught myself how to add pages to the top of my blog! Whew! I'm not an expert at all when it comes to computers! ha ha

So check out my pages for a quick reference to the posts you love!

Quiet Times- These are the devotional times I have with the Lord and my way of encouraging you through my blog.

Favorite Recipes- These are by no means all of my favorites! But these are the ones I've blogged about.

About Me- Really? I don't think you need an explanation! I'm just trying to clean up my blog a bit and reorganize! :)

My Creations- This is a page dedicated to the things I've posted about working on, kitchen makeovers, baking cakes..etc.

Have fun! I hope it's easier to browse through!

Kristin

Frozen Peanut Butter Bars

Frozen Peanut Butter Bars

1 cup butter
2 cups peanut butter
2 1/2 cups Graham Cracker crumbs
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 cups milk chocolate or semi sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup milk

In a large saucepan, melt butter and peanut butter together. Mix well. Remove from heat. Add crumbs and powdered sugar, mixing well. Spread peanut butter mixture in a jelly roll pan ( for thinner bars) or 9x13 (for thicker bars). I lined the pan with parchment or waxed paper). Chill. When the peanut butter layer is firm, melt chocolate chips with milk over low heat. Spread over chilled peanut butter mixture. Chill again. Eat now or freeze.

(In our family, we froze these - otherwise I could have possibly eaten the whole batch myself!)

Freezer Directions: Cut into serving size pieces/bars. Wrap individually or by the amount of one serving for your family. Store in ziploc bags or a rigid container. They are great frozen or slightly thawed too.

O YUM! I have had NO complaints with these!!
